The University of Salamanca is located in the city of Salamanca, with its different faculties spread all over the city. Salamanca is a lively city full of students both from Spain and from all over the world. Festival: every faculty has its own festival; normally the first one is the festival of the faculty of medicine and the last one that of the faculty of law (these two are the biggest ones). These festivals consist on different games and gatherings during the day and then a big party in a club at night. Some festivals last for almost a week, with different events taking place, such as special seminars, reputed speakers coming to the university to give speeches and card games or sport events.
